On the Grow is a spacious Children’s Activity Centre for ages 6 months to 6 years old, featuring an indoor playground with a gigantic tree house that has a swinging bridge, crawl tube and spiral slide. Cleaning Regime
All toys and equipment are cleaned and disinfected twice a day, everyday. Once at closing to prepare for the morning crowd, and again in the mid afternoon, to respond to the morning rush, and prepare for our afternoon guests.
Toys and equipment are sprayed and wiped with Green Unikleen; an eco-friendly, non-toxic degreaser and sanitizer. Small toys are also washed in hot, soapy water at least twice a week, in addition to the twice-a-day cleaning regime.
We also have alcohol and scent-free Anti-Microbe hand disinfectant at the entrance of the play area, and request that you use it upon entrance of the centre. This hand sanitizer kills bacteria, yeast and mold. We also have a separate sink for hand-washing in the Busy Bee Area, and encourage you to also participate in regular hand-washing while at the Centre. Hand-washing Instructions are posted at each sink.
We also removed the majority of cloth toys (minus the dress-up clothes and aprons, and a few hand puppets), and kept everything with a hard surface for easy cleaning. Cloth items are laundered on a regular basis.
We are also asking that if anyone is experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms, to please take care of yourselves, or your little ones in the comfort of your home, and come see us when you are feeling healthy once again!
It is important to stay home if you or your children have symptoms of both seasonal influenza and H1N1. The symptoms are similar in both cases and include fever and/or cough along with one or more of the following:
Unusual tiredness
Headaches
Muscle aches or joint aches
Sore throat
Vomiting and diarrhea

Cleanliness
We clean and sanitize all play surfaces and toys daily with green UNIKLEEN. This is a non-toxic, non-corrosive, non-allergenic, non-flammable cleaner that is 100% environmentally safe, 100% biodegradable and 100% soluble in water We have Atomes Anti-Microbe foaming hand disinfectant that is alcohol free and scent free placed in dispensers through-out the centre.
Please remember socks are required at all times for all little feet in the centre; this includes those young at heart.
